Domain Names T & C
This entire clause relates to the Domain Name Product. For this clause, the following terms shall be defined as follows:

| auDA | .au Domain Administration Limited (ABN 38 079 009 340). |
| auDA policy | Any policy listed by auDA: https://www.auda.org.au |
| Domain name license | A license for the use of a particular domain name. |
| Domain name license terms | The terms and conditions which apply to a domain license. |
| gTLD | Generic Top Level Domain, such as .com, .net, .org, .info, or .biz. |
| New gTLD | Any new generic Top Level Domain the Registrar is accredited to sell. |
| ICANN | Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers. |
| Member | A person who registers with us as a member and is provided with a Member ID. |
| Published Policies | The specifications and policies established and published by auDA from time to time. |
| Registrar | Entity responsible for the provision of domain name licenses. |
| Registrar of record | Entity by which a specific domain name is licensed through. |
| Registration fee | Current charge for a domain name license. |
| Registration period | The duration of a domain name license. |
| Registry operator | The entity that issues domain name licenses and maintains their respective records. |
| Renewal fee | Current charge for renewing a domain name license. |
| Registrant Transfer | The transfer of a domain name license from one registrant/member to another. |
| Registrar Transfer | The transfer of a domain name license from one registrar to another. |
21.1 Representations by HashTech.au
HashTech.au does not operate any part of the domain name systems or grant licenses for domain names. These actions are managed by relevant registry operators, which operate independently and beyond our control.
HashTech.au acts as a reseller of the domain name Registrar, providing End Users access to Registrar services. The obligations of the domain name Registrar include:

Arranging for domain name licenses to be granted by the relevant registry operators, subject to their rules, terms, policies, and requirements.

Carrying out limited functions on behalf of registry operators.

Serving as the registrar of record.

Providing online facilities for managing domain names.

Offering related services.
This document contains the terms and conditions that apply between you, HashTech.au, and the services provided by the Registrar.
IMPORTANT: By submitting an application for a domain name license, renewing, or transferring a domain name license to HashTech.au, you acknowledge and agree to the terms in this document. This includes policies specified by relevant registries and governing bodies, which may change without prior notice.
21.2 Refunds
21.2.1 Agreement
Refunds for domain name services are governed by the following terms:

It is your responsibility to ensure that:

Services are utilised fully.

The appropriateness and compatibility of services are assessed before purchase.

HashTech.au is not obligated to provide refunds for functional or acceptable services. Refunds may only be offered as account credits or direct refunds if cancellation requests are filed within 72 hours of purchase.

Account credits can only be used for purchasing HashTech.au services.

Refunds are not provided for domain name services purchased.
21.2.2 Claim Process
Refund or account credit requests must be submitted via email to support@hashtech.au within 72 hours of the purchase. Responses are typically sent within 14 days. Account credits cannot be redeemed as cash.
21.3 Suspension and Cancellation
HashTech.au reserves the right to suspend or cancel services if:

Outstanding invoices exist.

Terms of this agreement are violated.

Fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities are detected.

Any other reason deemed necessary to protect HashTech.au, its staff, or suppliers.
21.4 Registry Requirements

Domain licenses are subject to the registry operator’s terms, policies, and requirements.

Compliance with ICANN policies is mandatory: ICANN Policies.

You indemnify HashTech.au and the Registry from any claims arising from your domain registration or use.
