Step 1: Log in to GDMS
- Visit https://www.gdms.cloud and log in with your provided credentials.
- Request account setup if you don't already have access.
Step 2: Adding Devices to GDMS
- Navigate to the Devices tab.
- Click Add Device and enter the MAC address and Serial Number of the Grandstream phone.
- These details can be found on the phone’s label or in the system settings of the device.
Step 3: Configure Device Settings
- Once the device is added, click on it to view and configure settings.
- Choose or create a Configuration Template based on the phone’s model and the requirements of your VoIP setup (e.g., SIP settings, network settings).
- You can configure the device remotely, setting options like VoIP account registration, time zone, call forwarding, or other device-specific features.
Step 4: Push Configuration
- Once you’ve set the required parameters, click Save and Provision to send the configuration to the phone.
- The phone will automatically apply the settings and may restart to complete the provisioning process.
Step 5: Monitor Device and Firmware Updates
- Under the Devices tab, you can monitor each device’s online status, firmware version, and other metrics.
- For firmware updates, navigate to Firmware Management and choose the latest version suitable for the device model.
- Select the device(s) and click Update to perform a remote firmware upgrade.
Troubleshooting:
- If the device does not respond to provisioning, ensure the device is connected to the internet and check if the MAC and serial number were correctly entered.
- Verify the device’s registration status under the Device Status page.
